West Sussex Spurs the official years

West Sussex Spurs was formed in 1995 and spent Thirteen wonderful and successful years as an officially
approved club by THFC.
We booked and supplied tickets for all home games and in the earlier years supplied travel too.
Benefits included a Monthly Newsletter, regular email updates, Monthly meetings our own merchandise, arranged away trips, player of the year presentations and evenings with former players, evenings out including skittle nights and dog racing. We also had big meet ups before our home games and also on the away games.
Our West Sussex Spurs flag in the past has been seen flying proudly at away games home and abroad.
A few years ago we decided a Website was needed and this proved to be very popular with members and visitors.
We got to present the WSS player of the season at White Hart Lane and previous winners include, David Howells,
Stephen Carr, Simon Davies, Paul Robinson, Dimitar Berbatov, David Ginola and twice Robbie Keane.
Our evenings with Ex players which included David Howells, Alan Mullery and the all time appearance record holder Steve Perryman were extremely successful and enjoyed by our members, other fans and the ex players them selves and had very big turnouts .

West Sussex Spurs the unofficial years

From the start of season 2008-2009 we took the hard decision which was overwhelmingly backed by all our
members to go unofficial. We could not and did not except or agree with the new policies for supporters clubs and felt their views were ticket based and did not include thought to the other work and achievements the Supporters clubs stand for and having looked at other football clubs efforts to their supporters clubs it was time to make this move.
So we can no longer book tickets for our members, however due to the wonderful support of our members decided to keep the club running. We still send out a Newsletter and emails when relevant information is available.
The WSS flag still flies proudly at away games especially the UEFA away games. Our website is updated regularly with news on all things Spurs. And we intend to still organise evenings with ex players.
We still meet up at various venues pre match at home and still have members going to away games home and abroad.
So it is still very much worth joining us and an application form is on this site.
